Another great song,David. How else can we remember? Music has always been the way we

kept our memories. I was in Europe & on my way to Israel. I was in the ferry and luckily for me,

I ran into some folks coming from Israel who warned me not to go. So I debarked & have never regretted that I didn't go.

Thanks David. I didn’t know about that. I was a Zionist back then…

Most of us were pro-Israel back then, even a lot of lefties because, hey, Israel had kibbutzes. And the movie "Exodus" was fresh in our minds - Israel was a plucky band of Jews led by dashing figures like Paul Newman and Moshe Dayan holding out against a horde of crazed Mohamadeens. I only started to have doubts when Israel invaded Lebanon. and it would be 20 more years before I educated myself as to how Israel actually came into existence (after an Israeli bulldozer crushed Rachel Corrie in Gaza - I figured I owed it to her)

This is extraordinary!! I had no idea that such a momentous event had been written out of history. It confirms your role as bard and encyclopedic news gatherer for the people. I did know that a story had been leaked of Netanyahoo expressing contempt for the US as easily fooled useful idiots for the Zionist war machine which was buried in the mainstream media, but this takes the cake. Great work, comrade.
