I'm on a west coast tour this week, and someone's trying to get my gigs canceled. My critic's message is falling flat, so I thought I'd write them a theme song to help out.
this does seem to be how some people look at things, from what i've seen out there on the streets of portland over the past couple years. i have met guys around my age, race, etc., who say they basically have to demonstrate that they really aren't proud boys, even tho they look like they could be proud boys. so bizarre.
Hi David, it seems you are escalating, I mesan, you started out as suddenly being antisemmetic,(sic) now you graduated to being a fullblown nazi...Appearantly you must have pissed of some truly pittyfull guys. I wish I could say things are much different in Europe, even on this side of the pond, people, who've been invested in the antiracist fight for over a decade or more are labeled racist scum. though mostly it's the vast amount of right wing aggitators that call people nazi, because we don't accept complete free speech. All of a sudden free speech seems to be the benchmark, not wether you treat people with respect, regardless of their heritage.
yes, i completely agree with you. i've seen this phenomenon playing out a lot in the autonomous kind of circles in germany, especially, but also elsewhere in europe. it's a very challenging aspect of life these days, made so much worse by "social" media.
