Yes. There are groups in England that self censor due to fear that they may become UKLFI's next target. I was asked by a Socialist News Media Group to remove a video I had produced with your music on it. Pro Palestine groups in Eastbourne held a Vigil for Rafah after the horrendous attack by the IOA on those Palestinians living in tents in Rafah. We called an immediate vigil as we were shocked and wanted to show solidarity as soon as we could. Everyone was really distressed about what the people in Rafah had suffered. The song that fitted the video so well was "Just like the Nazis Did". I posted all over social media the video of the event. On this particular group I was asked to remove it. I did so. The explanation was that they did not want to open themselves to litigation as they could never afford to pay the court costs, so they would end up having to close down. They feared they would not survive as an organisation. . . . It is not enough for us to be standing of street corners each weekend waving the Palestinian flag. We need to back this with a unflinching and resolute resistance to the oppressive forces of the Israel lobby. Thank you for doing showing us how to do this David.

thank you, carol! the fear of litigation is understandable, and i guess it works, or uklfi wouldn't be doing it. for that matter, people believing the rumor mill or assuming there's truth to it can play the same role, without the need for legal threats. i think it's a shame that anybody gives in to uklfi's threats, or believes lies about me being antisemitic or rightwing. thankfully that latter issue has been less of one in england, but in the usa the culture of the online left just eats up every rumor they get thrown by their algorithmic masters.
