A principle it took me a long time to learn (teenagers know everything), but I did learn it. We can all work together on a single cause, or project, or petition, or demo. It doesn't matter if I'm a pacifist and you aren't if we both oppose war. It doesn't matter that I hold no religious belief and you attend church, or mosque, or temple, or synagogue regularly, we can still struggle for human rights worldwide. It doesn't matter that I am a CIS white woman, and you are trans or gay or neurodivergent, we can fight for LGBTQI+ rights and freedom; just as if you are black or brown or yellow or born anywhere in the world, we can fight racism, bigotry, together.
If we work together, in the end, however long it takes, we win.
