Should it really be against the law for anyone to know what the federal government is doing behind our backs?

I agree with you David, about Elon Musk. That’s nice, the agreeing part.

For me David Rovics is one of the best sources of Middle East news out there. Though I'll probably never be able to afford a Tesla, good on Elon Musk for being the 800 pound gorilla in the Twitter room. We'll wait for the mainstream media to throw bananas.

I haven't looked at my token Facebook account in ages, but like you I find X (Twitter) a good source of middle east news. RT Live is much better than the NATO MSM lie machine also, and of course Al Jazeera. Musk seems to be a Libertarian inclined to shoot from the lip - Ready, Shoot, Aim - rather than think or care about how his comments on whatever may be interpreted. By the way, if using an Apple computer, you may find the "Post" button doesn't work when commenting on Substack websites. Firefox works fine, though. Haven't tested Chrome or Opera.

All absolutely correct aside from Julian Assange. He is charged with breaking into government computers. Nothing to do with journalism. That is and it should be against the law. Get a grip
