I had been thinking that maybe "The Ballad of Donald and Kamala" was all I was going to have to say about this election cycle, but apparently there's more.
trump didn't solve any of the pressing societal problems that i'm aware of. my rent kept going up, the streets across the country kept filling up with the homeless, etc. he ruled on behalf of the rich, just like biden, just like obama, just like bush, clinton, reagan, etc. they all suck. that's my anti-capitalist position. solving the housing crisis isn't something a deregulated capitalist monopoly system can accomplish. he certainly has no clue how to solve this massive, elephant-in-the-living-room sized problem. if he did have a solution, and he even recognized this as a huge problem, it wouldn't have kept getting worse every year of his presidency, across the country. as it has also done under biden, as it also did under obama.
Honest question: How was Trump a disaster 2016 - 2020? Or more specifically, how was his term more of a disaster than 2020 - 2024?
