I have found a lot more freedom to share political content on MeWe. However, I would advise taking a core group of friends there with you, as otherwise you may have a hard time finding people to connect with. A friend of mine invited me to join them on MeWe, and I'm glad I added it. I'm not on X, but your remarks here are making me re-examine that option.
