As usual, I agree with abut half of your essay. That’s probably not too bad. That said, I probably also agree with about half of what Trump says too. And I will say it is nice to have somebody talking about peace for a change.

I have a bit of an issue with the far right thing. It is odd to keep calling them “far right” when they constitute a large segment of the population; they then become the mainstream or the center. I do not see Trump or his administration as far right in any way. Elon Musk, long time Democrat, electric cars, solar panels, batteries? How about RFK Jr, environmentalist, anti-big business and big pharma, anti-nuclear, anti-oil, super Democrat until they disowned him. Tulsi Gabard, another former Democrat and FBI/CIA skeptic, also very anti-war.

i agree that these terms are not necessarily so useful, because they have so many definitions, which are changing all the time. language is like that generally, but these kinds of words more so. so much of the agenda that people like rfk jr and gabbard and others talk about does seem very progressive, and i don't know what lies in the hearts of any of these individuals, or how they are processing what is going on. but it seems quite evident that they are all participating in the seizure of power by a dictator of a failed state called the usa. the lack of serious resistance is because the state was a failed one in the first place, and there's no movement with vision beyond the dnc status quo that hasn't already been sabotaged by the dnc. but that trump's plan is to be an unaccountable dictator seems evident. i'm glad this would-be dictator wants peace with russia, tho. hopefully he doesn't want to kill millions of palestinians or go to war with china.

What a difficult pill to swallow. It's stuck in my throat. I am sad/mad/despairing. The song at the end was particularly sad. Thanks, David.
