Maybe Blockout2024 is the beginning of masses of people deciding not to follow the celebrity culture and instead looking to each other for connection and guidance.

Nice review and discussion of political tribalism.

I like the movie too (seen it twice). It is interesting to see movies like Sound of Freedom (last summer), and Civil War doing quite well at the box office. Independent thought provoking movies without superheroes, or that are based on previous movies IPs.

Lastly, once the political partisans declared their dislike of Civil War I knew I would like it.

yes! after i heard them pan it on npr i knew i had to check it out. i haven't seen (or heard of) sound of freedom, i'll find it next...

The control works as long as people can mostly buy what they need. Saw that if gas had gone up in price the Houthis and by implication Gaza would have been a bigger story.
