This is so interesting, David... well done. So that's why all the coverage by the GRAYZONE (Aaron M and Max B) and Katie Halper was of the nauseating stuff INSIDE the wretched DNC and not reporting on a real people's forum OUTSIDE... because there wasn't one.
David... I suggest you send this to GL. I mean... you SHOULD be interviewed by DN!. Because what you have to say is really important. I also think the absence of music is a dead giveaway.
This is important stuff. Bravo for writing it. Honestly you would be great especially interviewed by Chris Hedges.
I won't rave... just to say THANKS. And this is what I needed to read.
Effective protest must be non-violent, structured and disciplined as a military maneuver. Just showing up to see what's happening or vent some steam is ineffective. "The Man" is watching and learning how to make your movement disreputable and ignored. Love your work David. CarryOn!
effective protest must be artistic, creative, it needs to bring people together, inspire others to join, and make anyone in the area want to join the movement.
Thank you so much for this report back about Chicago. Very interesting because I've also noticed that the speakers at most protests I go to just yell at us and there is seldom music and certainly no dancing.
