Yeah, this stinks, reeks of censorship, the quiet kind, the one they'll try to blame on technical glitches or whatever. I'd selected "If a Song Could Raise and Army" as one of my favorites, but all are blacked out, everything on the album. Give us an address to complain to, if it might help. At least expose their suppression.

Traveling through Montana last month I was unable to download your podcasts on the wifi available. This put you in a group with Caitlin Johnson and Glenn Greenwald. Reminds me of the Soviet Union. Information is dangerous to the empire and their narrative is the only one allowed. CarryOn!

I attempted to contact spotify today to ask about this because I was curious to see what they would tell a listener. First I had to jump through hoops to show it wasn’t just MY spotify app showing the error, and eventually I was told “the rights holders decide which markets they would like to stream their services on”— which given what you have said in this post, feels like an extremely generic nonanswer to my inquiry. I purchased the album through Bandcamp anyway so spotify isn’t where I primarily listen to you, but spotify IS where I first found your music (and imagine its the same for many others). I’m sorry this is happening to your content.

That's horrible. I don't know what to do about this. All of the work you have put it. I'm so sorry.

well the album itself isn't lost or anything, but it's not on spotify, so most people in the world on the dominant platform won't have the chance to possibly discover it, nor will people looking for it there be able to find it. it's our new dystopic media landscape, brought to us by the same sorts of capitalists that brought us the last dystopic media landscape.

I'm sorry to hear about this. I wish I had some words of wisdom, but I don't. I never took banning & shadow banning seriously until it happened to me. My last 2-3 months on FB have been really quiet. I didn't know anything was wrong until I got an email from a close friend in Canada asking we if I was all right. She hadn't seen any of my posts and couldn't connect to my FB page. It was "unavailable". I emailed some other friends, and they wondered about me too. This must all be from my posts about Gaza and the elections. I've been pretty vocal about both. I recently moved and asked for help online and only got crickets. Same with my housewarming. It's downright depressing. I don't need that. I'm already clinically depressed. I don't know how you handle it. I joined Bl**Sky intending to drop FB & Twitter-X. But I don't know how to tell all my friends. I hear if you post something like that, it automatically disappears into a black hole... and I *already* feel I'm past the event horizon. I'd send you my "thoughts and prayers", but we both know how futile something like that is. If you send us an address to complain to, I'll give it a shot. But, I feel <cue Kansas>"it's all just P*ss in the Wind" >/Kansas>.

Yes, they didn't delete that one. Random.
