Remember the electoral college. If you don't live In a swing state, there's no reason to vote Dem. You won't help Kamala get elected/defeat Trump by doing so. You will only confirm to the Dems that you won't stand up to them when you are 100% free to do so (i.e., that they own you, or you forgot how we actually elect presidents after all the media coverage as if we vote in a national election, which we don't, or you are too afraid to vote 3rd party, or you want yo vote for a "viable candidate," whyever that is -- I have gotten all these responses in CA). Please vote Green or P&F when and where you can.

ty. I am also coming from NorCal, where voting didn't matter and this is likely to be a close presidential race between Mickey Mouse and Fred Flintstone.

As a relatively new Arizonan, I am passionate about open primaries and water.

As a registered Independent, I am hesitant to throw away my vote against the red babykiller or draw too much attention to myself or the fact that I have no intention of voting for the blue babykiller either.

Stlll shaken from the reality of my internet friend's beautiful little toddler being marched off from her encampment in Gaza to die with every other man, boy, elder, and, of course, preop trans girl or woman the other day.

Will check out viable and serious third party candidates. Chappell Roan doesn't need my vote any more than Mickey Mouse does, and Fred Flintstone is too old.

Also re parenting: another really destructive thing you can do is *not respond* when your child is crying for help (in whatever way).

Thank you. I needed that today. Restacked and you inspired me to post a note.

😁

You don't remember me, but I saw you perform many years ago and you asked me a parenting question.

It's populism vs elites now. My leftwing friends and family don't recognize the shift because their "side" has solidified into something elementally power-driven, while pontificating platitudes. Nationalism is the antidote to Globalism. The First Amendment is the shining light on a hill.

Actually it's elites vs. elites, if you're talking about Republicans and Democrats, which is what it sounds like. Trump and all his cronies are an elite, and they don't actually believe in "free speech" or "free" anything. Nationalism isn't a cure for anything, it's a disease, along with imperialism. I'm not sure what "globalism" is other than a Republican talking point. Certainly the "free trade" bills aren't free and they suck for most people, but Trump didn't bail out of the TPP/TTIP because he cares about freedom of trade, did he?

MAGA aren’t the elite. I’m talking about the people.

They told too many lies about Trump. I looked deeper, and in different places and now I believe nothing of those hoaxes of the past.

If you don’t understand what globalism is, then you are really out of touch. We used to fight Globalism on the left? Don’t you remember?
