Smart move. Odysee is also worth looking at. It's small but has great usability and reaches a more Russia-centric audience.

Yeah, but Odyssee caved in when the french government asked it to censor RT : https://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2022/10/21/odysee-forced-to-drop-russian-channels

Meanwhile, Rumble refused and accepted instead to be banned in France(, it was only unbanned 3 years later, less than 3 months ago)

Didn't know that. It's odd though because I've always been able to watch RT news items on it even so but i suppose they were on channels that slipped by the censor. 🤷‍♂️ I switched to it in 23 because I discovered that "Russia Insight" was on there, having been banned off YouTube in 22.

Perhaps because you're from the US ? A.f.a.i.k. it was only in France, not EU-wide, perhaps because they didn't yet develop the tools, or didn't apply them as this article regret(, while citing 3.000+ access restrictions on Odyssee) : https://www.disinfo.eu/advocacy/odysee-list-of-geo-blocking-requests-shows-the-eu-and-eu-member-states-are-far-from-doing-enough-to-enforce-the-law

Truly scary times ahead, i cannot point enough how much we've lost the battle, partly because we're not in a real/direct democracy, because capitalists bought t.v. channels and radio(, which they were forbidden to do before the 80s in Europe), and for other reasons.

When we look back at history and see huge changes, we don't immediately realize that these could happen in the present as well...

Time to learn russian, chinese, or some other language i guess.
