Congratulations to Mayor Zohran Mamdani, whose landslide election makes a mockery of all the nonsense about most US Jews feeling threatened by pro-Palestinian sentiments.
I lived with a close Jewish friend in Brooklyn in the early 80's so it surprises me not that the Jewish voters turned out for someone who will pursue a mild socialist agenda. Despite some misgivings (I remember the turmoil and decay in NYC in the1970's) I see this as really positive and a real snub to those who would have us hate on each other because of our religion.
